Satanic Temple asks attendees to transfer their souls to Satan at Baphomet unveiling – Jewish Business News

The Satanic Temple asked attendees to sell their soul to the devil at statue unveiling

RJ Womack Comment: The Satanic Temple knows how superstitious devoutly religious Christians can be. They know that an evangelical Christian would never sign such a document, and I have no doubt the document was an attempt on their part to prevent Christians from crashing their event. If I were hosting the event, I would have done exactly the same thing.

It’s pretty clear that having the attendees sign a pact was intended as a bit of theatrical satire on the part of The Satanic Temple. It doesn’t take a genius to see what’s going on here. It’s only the devoutly religious Christians and Jews that would be gullible enough to take things at face value.

    1. Their strategy has been simple and straightforward. That’s what makes it effective. When they started, it was with the intention of being a group based on political activism. To be a thorn in the side of Christianity and to challenge long-held societal norms. I would say they’ve done a pretty good job of achieving those goals.
