Satanic Temple representative debates Christian minister over religious rights

Yellow reminder with pin on notice board

RJ Womack Comment: I have always been honest about my disappointment that the only voices represent Satanism Publicly are those of the atheistic variety. Having said that though, I have to admit that the Satanic Temple has chosen people to represent itself that are reasonably articulate and that do a decent job representing their point of view.

This is not one of their better interviews. You can tell that the woman representing the Satanic Temple is having a difficult time making herself heard over the minister. As a theistic Satanist, I strongly disagree with the notion that Satan is merely a symbol, but ultimately I feel the Satanic Temple’s efforts will benefit all Satanists regardless of their beliefs, and I applaud them for their efforts to protect the religious freedoms of all Satanists, regardless of whatever else they may believe.

    1. I get the distinct impression that this pastor is somewhat of a troublemaker. I don’t think the hosts would’ve been so quick to stick up for her the way they did unless that pastor is known for being an ass.
